White Space

White Space: leave space without graphics or text to maximize readability and attractiveness of your pages.

The BAD:

The GOOD:

White space does not literally have to be white, it's just space without text or graphics.

There are several ways to add white space:

• Increase indent or space between paragraphs.
• Increase space between columns of text.
• Increase margins.
• Leave more room around graphics, headers.
• Increase space around individual letters (also called kerning).
